NORA is a diverse team of conscientious residents from north Oxfordshire who are concerned about the pace and nature of development in our local area

Our mission
To ensure local residents know about and participate in decisions about planned development where they live and work
To engage in meaningful dialogue about meeting local needs
Why we exist
We exist to ensure that development in north Oxfordshire is driven by clear and identified local needs instead of a political agenda.
We aim to:
- Ensure local views are heard by and included in decision making at Cherwell District Council
- Influence decisions at every stage to ensure suitability and fairness of development
- Prevent overdevelopment in north Oxfordshire in favour of high-quality development that truly meets local needs and protects our living environment

We care about our history
Our area is home to many historic places including market towns Bicester and Banbury, small villages and hamlets and of course countless ancient buildings.
We care about the natural environment
The gentle landscape of north Oxfordshire with its ancient hedgerows, fields, rolling hills, streams, copses and woods are home to more than just humans. Our natural environment feeds us, nurtures our physical and mental health, and sustains a huge range of animal life.
